I just bought a networking kit (NetGear) to hook up my old computer for LAN and internet sharing (which was working fine).... anyway,
the case is like bent out of shape or something.. the ISA card won't fit in no matter what I do, it's like cm off or so, even if I do whatever I can to keep the case attached to the mb part far left.. yet the PCI card (my vid card) right beside it fits in fine.

I can't see it being misaligned ISA cards, as my modem and soundcard used to fit into just fine..

anyway, my new motherboard is put in with screws... this one uses those white pegs you have to squeeze real hard to pull out.. that's what I'm told.. I think I might need to adjust the motherboard position.. but then it might throw off the PCi slot that's fine right now or something....

any ideas?

Well.. it doesnt sound good. Could be you have an AT case and an ATX board, or something like that. But its deffinetly screwed up, and if you cant position it correctly, than thats my guess.

I bought a video card once that was completely off with the placement of the retaining bracket and it ended up being about ½" higher than where it should have been to secure it with the screw onto the case.

Compare the Network card to another ISA card that you have and see the difference if any.
