E3 2005 is over. What game are you personally waiting for?

...frankly, I'm kind of disappointed. The 'sequel' market seems to be the dominant influx this year.

Msotly what i was looking forward to before the show:

F.E.A.R.
HL2: The Lost Coast and Aftermath
UT2007
Quake 4 and Quake 4:ET
Hitman: Blood Money


and to a lesser extent Prey and CoD 2

Beyond that there are a couple of other titles, such as Black and White 2 which i'll be keeping my eyes open for later in the year. To be honest most of the revolutionary stuff at the show was coming from the direction of the consoles, but then that's to be expected from technology roughly two generatiosn ahead of that which us PC gamers currently have

Depending upon which game comes out first this month ( June ) ,more than likely BF2 ( June 21st)will be first along with Shadows of Chernobyl and then F.E.A.R. coming out soon after.;)

yeah, those pretty much cover my list as well. I'm putting a little higher anticipation on AoE III though....I'm feeling a little burned out on FPS's atm. I was actually hoping a nexgen helo or combat flight sim would be grabbin my attention....maybe next year.

For some inexplicabel reason, everytime i see STALKER in action it just grabs me less and less. Simiarly, BF2's worthiness for me will balance upon wether or not they do bots right. Whiel with CoD 2 they need to overhaul the gameplay if they want to remain at the top of the field

Was hot for BF 2 and Quake4 but hadn't heard of bigjakkstaffa's

goodie to look forward to.

What about Autoassalt? It sounds right up my street (except possible charges for net play :mad: ) but no other mention.

Out of all the new games coming out I think Quake 4 will have the biggest overall impact and may well be at the top of years best..when it comes out. ( don't miss that one )

The other two biggies would be F.E.A.R. and AOE 3

BF2 is mostly an online game so not everybody will jump on that bandwagon but it will be huge I think.

A real cute and entertaining game "Auto Assault is coming out mid month in June and I just may get that right away. I played the demo a ways back and it was sheer fun.

Another game that took a big head turn at the E3 convention was the latest Rise Of Nations edition. i guess the graphics and physics in that are just nuts...

And..of course HL2 Aftermath is a no brainer..at least for us HL2 diehard fans.;)
