The notion that you need a super-fast memory frequency (and hence fast RAM). It seems that keeping tight timings and raising the HTT, asynchronous of the memory frequency if need be is more beneficial

The exact reason I haven’t been worried about getting a dfi board with big volts for my bh5. Tight timings and a divider will do ya justice. Plus I bought an agp 6800gt, so I’m not going NF4\PCIe any time soon.
I was gonna upgrade a little while ago. I decided to wait for awhile and see how the dual cores shake the market up. My mobile is still doing justice, all though I feel it’s bottlenecking my vc a bit.
