I just hope they don't have problems with their new distributor like they had with vivendi.
Besides that....I want to know if and when they're going to allow me to upgrade my retail copy of HL2 to the so called Silver package, so i can play HL: Source and DOD: Source...i'd pay the difference between the bronze and the silver package in a heartbeat.

s far as I know Day of Defeat should be released as retail also..as that is the word I got,as i play CSS away too much and would like to see some other stuff also.

Yes.

Ongoing legal wrangles and internal disputes with Vivendi (which also threatened the HL2 release) were leading towards Valve distributing it the only way in which it could do so independently of VU, via Steam. Now Valve have managed to drop Vivendi though, theyre going to release it as a retail package.
