there aren't going to be any socket 754 multicores. AMD multicores are going to be on the 939 or 940 only.

:( Thats a swift kick, why did the even come out with it!!??? If the 754's had dual channel...they could be just as good as 939' (actually, that would make them exactly the same)..

It was the first attempt at a new technology/architecture, whenever that happens then you know the initial form probably doesnt have a very big lifespan, as it will be quickly refined and remodelled. part of the reason i never jump on any new technological band wagons particularly quickly
