I've been reading up on this, and from the sounds of it you need good RAM to pull this off, even more so if you also want to overclock the HTT frequency siultaneously. From what i was reading yesterday it was made out that the only RAM to yield success at 1T when overclocking is single sided OCZ and G-Skill, which, to be honest, are a tad pricey for me.
As such, i was wondering if anyone knew of any other RAM which would do the trick before i make a purchase later in the summer, at the moment im mainly looking at PC4400 Corsair XMS and PC4400 Geil Ultra Platinum stuff, you think i can pull it off with said RAM?
Cheers

I've been running my corsair XMS 3200 ram at 220FSB since getting my a64 system last year...tight timings at T! so I would guess that any decent RAM would do.

I'm probably gonna just lump for some standard Corsair XMS 3200 stuff (rated for 2-3-3-6 at 200Mhz). Reason i say so is, firstly as much as i would like to i cant really afford to be blowing money on really high end RAM, secondly, i've done some reading up and apparently when running the FSB Asynchronously on the A64 you only lose a coupel of percent performance over if you were running the FSB synchronously. As such i'll probably push the XMS 3200 as far as it can go at T1 and then just run it Asynch from there

OCZ Gold VX! 2-2-2-5 at DDR500! Well, with like 3.8V or somethin like that lol. You can buy 1GB on ebay for like $150.
