How about instead of increasing the number of pixels our avatars can be, we increase the version number of VBulliten? :)

I seem to be the last person in the world on dial-up so bigger avy's would slow down my already slooow connection so I voted for keeping them the same

I think your connection would stay the same speed regardless off avy size :p

Just because it will take longer for them to load doesn't mean his connection speed is slower, just means he is downloading more at the same rate so it takes longer

Problem is ........ It will crash on the first day ......... Be down for 3 days .......... Be up for 2 Hrs & crash again ......... Then it'll be a fornights worth of being down while they wait for a new part to come from Germany on the back of a cammel ........... During the mean time the IT guy will be saying its not his fault as SRJ never specified that the new software had to actually work :D
