I have just replaced the hadr drive and reloaded win95r2. Win 95 reports the disk asbeing 6.02 Gb when it is actually 6.4. Did I do something wrong at fdisk?

Hi stephani ~

No, you did nothing wrong.

Basically, it's the way hard drive manufacturers "count" their bytes. The true amount of bytes for 1mg = 1024 byes. But the hard drive manufacturers, for their reasons, count 1mg = 1000 bytes. That is why your (everyones) readout of the hdd reflects a smaller size compared to the stated disk size.
