lower 3dmarks...

why the h**l are my 3dmarks lower
with my new/faster harddrive?

i used to run a quantum 6.4 ST
and now i run a IBM 25GP 15.2
[ATA/66 disabled]

i just hate this.

i get like 5-600 less 3dmarks.
100 would be neglible but not
as many as this....

2)What were your scores before/after?
3)Have you noticed any difference while playing 3D games?

Win'98? R click on my computer/properties/device manager and highlight your hd-then properties/settings. DMA should be checked.

I have the following setup:

CPU: AMD k6-2 400@450
MEM: Hyundai Pc100, 64mb
MOBO: Fic VA503+ [with latest stable bios]
VIDEO: STB Velocity 4400, Riva TNT, 16mb
(as if you didn´t know that /forum/biggrin.gif )
HDD: IBM 25GP, 15.2 GB, DMA 66
FDD: Sony or NEC can´t remember...
SCSI: Symbios s8100 and SCSI zip drive.

I think i have already solved the problem...
because i have to disable UDMA support
in bios ´cause of the mainboard not supporting ata 66..... have already ordered
an ABIT Hotrod 66 i/o card to solve this
