I have been having probs. running darkstone. After instalation I can play w/o any probs. Then when I go to play again I can't get past the menu screen. I get dropped right out of the game. No error or anything, just the desktop. Even if I uninstall reinstall the game I can't get it to work. I have to reinstall windows. I have tried updated manufacturer's drivers, reference drivers, and 3dfx's quake3 drivers. Everything else SEEMS to be fine. My guess it is a video issue but not quite sure what else to look for.

System:
AMD K6-2 350
Quantum3d Raven 16 meg Banshee AGP video
128 MB pc100 ram
WD 5.1 gig HD
DLink PCI NIC
rockwell compat. 56k modem (isa)
craetive 16 AWE 32 sound
FIC 503+ MB

Please Help!!!!

It sounds more like a problem with the game instead of hardware, but you can try these tips. Depending on what type of chipset you have, make sure you have the latest AGP drivers for the m/b. Even though 3dfx don't really use advanced AGP functions, they still require a proper AGP interface. Next disable these aoptions in your bios: video cacheing and video shawdow. As for the driver issue, the Quake3 reference set is probably the best Banshee drivers to date.
