Trying to stick some more FPM memory into this dinosaur. It's a Canon MT 7030 Innova Media 75 Mhz Pentium (I know why bother, but it was free to a computer illiterate so I'm trying to help out).I'm getting memory errors on Windows load with the double sided stuff I picked up. It's got 8 megs of single sided **** in it now. Can't find a manual online. Does anyone know where I can find out what kind of memory this thing will tolerate? I really appreciate any response.
Thanks....

Are you trying to load a 16mb stick into it?If so,take out the original stick and try again. If it doesn't work,it's probably one of those "proprietary" things where you have to buy the RAM upgrade from Canon.....expensive!.......DawgTuff.
Harry I know you have checked the -60 -70 speed on the chip/strips and they all match.OK <grin>
The Canon has a limit as to how many total chips can be powered up (reliabely).
Also it is difficult to get lucky enough to get single and double sided simms to play together.
I pulled the original simms and played with pairs that would play together.
I hope this helps. Do not try to use too many double sided strips they are (usually) power hogs...
