Voodoo 3 3000 AGP Problem!

Please Help... I am having a problem with my voodoo 3. It seems to be that whenever I am on the net, after a short time the graphics mess up and the machine locks up. I decided to turn off the acceleration under Windows trouble shooting. The Grpahics still mess up but the machine dosn't lock.

Someone said that it may be a problem with IE5 or the service park 1 of windows 98.....

any ideas?

P.S. I have downloaded the latest drivers and that hasn't made any difference!

What kind of system are you running?

A PII 233mhz, 96mb Ram, 21.4gb HDD, LX Motherboard, 32x CD Rom, Turtle Beach A3D Soundcard with a Yamaha DB50xg Daughterboard. I think thats everything?

Add these lines in your system.ini file, if not already there:

[DISPLAY]
BusThrottle=1

Also make sure you have diasabled pallete snooping, video caching, and video shawdowing in your bios.
