Just wondering but what would you price this laptop at:
Pentium 1 266mhz
96mb Ram
4gb Hd
CD-Rom and Floppy
Charger but no battery
Windows 98
Been sitting around for a while and so I thought I'd try an sell it.

With those specs & no battery it's pretty much useless as a portable without the buyer spending £50 for a battery - IMO you'll be lucky to get £50 for it.

I have a similar spec'd machine (complete with dead battery) that won't read home made CD-Roms, but will read factory produced disks just fine! I consider a total loss. I expect I'll take it to the local computer exchange and be given a cheap joystick for it. :(

LOL My stereo does the same thing. Will read my retail versions of CD's but not the duplicates... Though my portable CD player reads them just fine.

I got serveral laptops like this for around $75-$95. There good to just through on a personal network to mess around with.
