Floppy Drive problem!!!!!

Please help!!!!!!!!!

I changed my mobo and now my floppy drive only works in dos mode and even this is sometimes but never works in windows.

Try a different cable.
And, did you reload windows?

well i removed my most of my device in the device manager and i'll be damned... it worked... You guys are the best support i can get. thanks a million

Did you do a remove of all devices in the Devices Manager and let windows reinstall them one at a time.

i had a similar problem when i added a new MB..floppy worked in dos not in windows..seems i used the same address settins on my SB16 sound card and there was a conflict..tried another address and everything worked ok
