Disable VGA

Can anyone tell me how to disable the on board VGA in a m598 motherboard?

astro, I believe that if you go to BIOS setup, 'PCI/Plug n Play setup', that you can choose between onboard AGP or PCI graphics card.

Thanks, but I didn't go into enough detail. The VGA on the board is not working at all. I can't get a screen to do setup.

If there is no jumper to disable onboard video, then you can't.
Install PCI or AGP video card, and if onboard video shows up in Properties, then you can disable in properties/device manager.

You might try clearing the BIOS and see if that gets your video back, I also have a 598 and if you set an incorrect processor speed, you will not get any video display. Also check the seating of your RAM and connectors while you are accessing the mobo.
