Hi all, a buddy of mine just got a parallel port net camera, and so he installed a add in card that added a 2nd parallel port to his machine with the idea of using the camera and the printer at the same time. So he has a LPT1 and LPT2. Win98 recognizes fine, no conflicts. No matter which ones he hooks the camera and printer too, the printer gets the data when a program requests data from the camera. The camera turns off and the printer resets. The only way to get the camera to work is to unplug the printer completely. Anyone have any ideas. Like said before, is both ports are installed, but printer still works on either. even if printer properties are set to the opposite port from the one the camera is on.
