Officially the best website I've been. thx again. Underclocked 09-07-1999, 12:55 AM Another is to format a floppy with Copy system files option, then reboot and make sure your floppy is the first boot device. You should then wind up at the A prompt. I believe most bios update programs have an EXACT method stated by the motherboard OEM which is to be followed and this is usually one of the steps. Recheck your vendor's web page before you do it to see if there are other specific steps to follow. For your own peace of mind. /forum/smile.gif awwall 09-07-1999, 10:45 PM Nother neat trick is to hold down the left shift key while booting. Will take windows directly into Safe Mode, with no drivers loaded. aw SysOpt.com
