Hi folks:

I have a couple of .toast cd image files (as you know they are Mac files) on my pc and need to burn them to CD's, but don't know what software must I use to do. I have tried with Nero and some more, but all of them gave me errors reading or recongnizing the image files. I know that the easy way is to find some external storage and move the files to a Mac and burn the there, but It's very hard for me now to have access to a Mac. So If someone knows the way to burn .toast image files with a PC or the software thet can do this, I thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you all and greets.

Wild guess in the dark - might try renaming the extension to .toa or any three digit extension.

Hi Steve:

I want to thank you for your early answer that actually has been very useful cause I've just renamed the .toast image to .iso , then I take it to Nero Burning Rom to burn it and has no problem to burn it. Then I put it on my Macintosh and... IT WORKED OK!!!!! . It was so simple that I couldn't imagine it so far. So I thank you so much for your answer Steve.

It was a lucky (but slighly educated) guess.

We love a story with a happy ending anyway we can get it;)
