I need some clue as to how to either update or install clean , any updated drivers for this system for XP SP2. The install CD works fine , but they're dated ('03). Usually I just install the newest UDP's from Nvidia , but that didn't work. The audio devices wouldn't install. Forceware insisted that no Nforce hardware was present. I updated the bios, and tried the 4.27's and 5.10's , with same results.
If I wasn't pressed for delivery I would have spent more time on it , but they wanted it as is since its working fine.
I did like the SSF setup, so am looking at throwing a few more together, but this driver issue doesn't set right with me.

I've got a 200N, and the latest nVidia drivers work fine - it uses the MCP-T southbridge and hence SoundStorm, so it should be OK

Yea , I know , thats why I'm puzzled. Did you install from the CD first, then upgrade later ?

Nope, I installed a fresh copy of Windows from an SP2 slipstreamed CD then installed the 5.10s, although I've had the 4.27s running fine too.

Hump , did that exactly. We'll just have to see if I can try an update at some other time .
Thanks for the confirmation, Fishy .
