Help, I have a Compaq Presario 5030 that is now giving me the blues at start up. I updated the BIOS from compaqs web site and I think that's when it started giving me problems. I went back to the old BIOS and still the samething, the puter starts to boot all the way to the Windows 98 screen and then it just sit there. No HD action or anything. Then all of a sudden it gets a wild hair a start Win 98. It will sit there for about 1 minute before it decides to start. Also, I got a virus somewhere on hte web the other night right before this started happening, Numbers Beast BB, I don't think this is the problem, just thought I would mention it just incase. Any info would be great. Sorry, I got long winded here.
