I went to a comp show recently and saw some vendor had RAM for sale, so i asked too look at for ns ratings (all important when your shootin' high clock speeds). Anyways, He showed me 2 sticks of RAM, one was the basic Micron DIMM, And then this other one, whos chips were curiously smaller (the size of the stick was the same, just the chip ons the RAM were smaller.
This stick was made by a company named KDS, and I didnt know what to make of it, so I asked the vendor (all of which are just too eager to rip a 16 y/o kid off) and he said it was 'New Technology' and 'cheaper (price wise)' than standard DIMM's
So I come to u guys about it...You guys ever seen or used this RAM before? Does it work ok? I was thinking it mighta been SO-DIMM's but arent they smaller in overall size? Im not sure at all what to make of this...
