Win 98

I installed win 98 full overtop of the win 98 upgrade which was installed overtop of win 95.
My drive is full,.......DUH!!!
Is there any way other than re-formatting to get rid of win 95 and the 98 upgrade???

1) Windows will save the old system so it can be restored, go Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Windows Setup and their should be a box that you can uncheck to ditch the old system files and settings.

2) Go in with a boot disk and delete the C:\WINDOWS directory, then reinstall windows.

3) Kick you computer, kick it hard. Then claim it was that way when you bought it and get it replaced... /forum/smile.gif
