I have a problem. It seems that when I goto windows explorer and right click on my HD and select properties it tells me that I have 4.22 GB of free space left.
But when I install a new program it says that ****is the amount of space I have and ***** is the amount of space I'll have left after the installation and It says that I only have 2 GB
on my HD. Why does it say that I have 2 GBleft and it says 4Gb on Windows Explorer?

What kind of system do you have? You may have to partition your HD.

If the program is rather old, or is written by a small company, or an individual, then perhaps it's installer isn't compliant with "Large Disk Support", which is part of the FAT32 filesystem that Win98, and Win95 OSR2 uses. Before FAT32, Win95 used FAT16, which had a max partition size limit of 2008mb.

Basically, the installer of that program is wrong, and you have nothing to worry about.
You still have 4GB free.
