Some generic advice:

On a new built system, just get it working first time at the factory defaults. If you are trying to overclock from day 1, you are asking for trouble /forum/smile.gif

Double check your multiplier/fsb/pci bus/agp bus settings with your motherboard/cpu/video card settings as advised in your documentation. There is ALWAYS the chance that you got something wrong. I think we've all been there before /forum/smile.gif

Try disconnecting everything but the floppy and primary video adapter. Just turn it on or maybe use a bootable system disk in the floppy to see how far you get. It's possible you have an IDE HDD cable the wrong way round or something. I think that can produce kooky boots.
When you reattach stuff, do one component, one boot to eliminate confusing hardware problems.

If you can list your components and the exact nature of the boot failure (e.g., POST messages, system beeps), one of the board's Illuminati may know of particular problems with that bit of kit and be able to render more specific advice than I am qualified to do.
