A response: "PCI-E is 20% faster than cards which are based off of advanced graphics processors (or AGP)." That is put short and nicely there but one did say something of such insanity. ARGH! Who programs such idiots?

I always thought that AGP stands for accelerated(advansed) graphics port. Don't see how it can be a processor when it's a port LOL :D .

Seems like I told this to a mod - he hasn't seen it yet - this could get interesting. :) I figured this was just some merry fool intent on spouting out that he's an idiot. Nope, he's a fool with banning rights.

Another tidbit from the same post.

Then he goes on and equates everything to have it's own interface not realizing most of what he said uses the PCI bus in some way or another.

Err. no... if you want to be technical (and he did), there is one - a 2D/3D accelerator - if you go back far enough it'll just be 2D.

If i get banned I'll post the thread - otherwise I don't want to release sharks into waters filled with chum - it isn't ethical.

Porsch, your not missing much - just me going off on a luser or two.

If you need comic relief try the BOFH - should be able to find the writings at the register... basically what is going on at that site. A few with knowledge are inundated with many without any.
