Ebay or Amazon I can't say that these are the best but they gets the job done. Andrew_Carr 03-23-2005, 02:21 AM I've been selling my games at Electronics Boutique since it's the only thing around that buys games anymore. Did pretty well for awhile, but recently got screwed selling a couple games. Got like 4$ for Uru, Prince of Persia, and XIII. All games in perfect condition, and at most the games had been released for a year. Will go back later to see how much they're selling for, and i'll have my receipt with me. They apparently offer 1/2 what they sell the game for, but the guy I sold it to was a ****, so that complicated things. Anyway, if you're selling at a B&M, make sure you get along with the employee. If not, just flat out leave and come back when someone else is there. The previous time i'd sold games I sold about 10, and the guy and I talked about HL2 for about half an hour while he rung the stuff up. It worked out great, and for a bunch of old games I got 44$. This time I sold several new games, and got 20$ for NWN:Gold and 3$ for about 6 other games. [Edited by Imperion1, you need to watch your language] Someone Stupid 03-23-2005, 03:24 AM It doesn't matter how well they know you or not unless it is the manager and he's willing to cover the cost the company has marked for them to pay if he pays over it. It is just like blockbuster's buyback. They scan the barcode and it tells them how much to give you. If they can move a lot of the units - even if used, you'll get more, if they can't move many (or they have a ton of them in the region's distribution area) you'll only get a few bucks. Just go to one that you can see the screen as I had a friend at blockbuster who'd offer a dollar (or five) less than what it would say you'd get and pocket it. Easier to see at some stores than others if your getting whatever pittance the company in question decides to pay you. It has NOTHING to do with how much they like you. Nobody is gonna empty money out of their pocket to pay you more than they need to, especially when they aren't going to see the profits. CrazyCrusher 03-24-2005, 09:24 AM Gamestop will give you little or nothing for your games, they are a rip off, you best bet is to sell them on ebay as I do, I always sell them for little under what I bought them for give or take a few bucks if there older.
