I read somewhere that a motherboard with a socket 370 to slot 1 converter cannot fit into InWin A500 case, which I have.
I am worried about it, since I probably will buy something like that.
InWin A500 is pretty popular, anyone here has such experience? positive, or negative? mb brand name & specs?
Thanks.

I have an Inwin A660 which is basically the same internals as the A500 with a little different external styling. The problem is that the power supply sitting right over the CPU slot on the most motherboards and can interfere with some of the taller 370->Slot1 converters. I had a cheap (really really cheap, like $5) Sloket that was taller than any other I've seen, and I was still able to squeeze it in there by taking the power supply out to install it. Due to other problems with that adapter, I picked up an MSI 6905 adapter and it clears the power supply by nearly a half inch. The MSI adapter is one of the lowest profile, best featured (dual, voltages, and 66/100 all jumperable), and most stable I've had a chance to work with. If you get a choice, get it over all others. Beware of the cheaper adapters like those with tin contacts.
If you have problems getting your CPU into the motherboard with that case, just unscrew the 4-5 screws that hold the powersupply into the back of the case, pull it out, and install from there. Unless you get a really tall adapter like I ended up stuck with at first, you should have few problems.
