NFSU2 Patch.

I noticed tonight that there is a patch for NFSU2 at http://www.eagames.com/official/nfs/underground2/us/news.jsp

The thing I read on it says it fixes some frame rate problems on Nvidia 6800 series cards. I downloaded it and have run the game with it on my 6800GT and the frame rates are significantly better.

With fraps running I was getting 95 FPS in the wide open spaces and dropping to the 60's in congested areas. That is much better than the lower 70's I was getting in wide open and 45 in congested. It worked for me. :)

I thought I'd bump this one time just in case anybody missed it. I am attaching a screenie this time. This patch is worth getting. Now I'll let this die a respectable death. :p 1024x768 high settings.

A bit late with the patch...Ive finished it about a month ago. Great game never the less.

I have finished it on every degree of difficulty. I still play it though. It is much better with the patch "IF" you are running an nvidia card. ;)

yeah finished it a week or so ago, but there was still a heap of races "incomplete" in the world map section but i did all those aswell but nothing extra :( , good game though :)

i just relised today that there were NO Lap KO races in the game but there is in the "quick race" mode :confused:
