Definatly a ram issue, and possibly a video card issue as well. If you're using this as a gaming rig, you really should have 512MB of ram in there. 128MB is bearly enough for the OS, especially if you're running windows XP, but even if you're not, its still far from adequate when playing games. Also, what type of video card is it?

Munday63-

I agree with both Tech^salvager & RamonGTP that you don't have enough memory available. The 128MB of RAM that is minimum requirement by Microsoft is only good for running the OS and one application that does not demand too much on RAM.

You really need about 512MB of RAM for running games comfortably nowadays! Anything less is not going to make your gaming experience enjoyable. By the way, what game are you trying to run and what are the system requirements for that game? If you aren't even close on the RAM and/or the videocard requirements, then there is your reason why it is running the way it is!

1st it's the RAM
2nd is the Video Card

i've that game, and if you run it at full quality with a 64 Mb video card is going to be choppy as well :t

I used to play Ghost Recon ALL the time on a GeForce MX200 32mb and it ran just fine, so it's not the video card. Actually, I've also run it on a 8mb nVidia Vanta card too :p And for GR, you don't need more than 256mb of RAM, so if you can't afford to put 512mb in there, just get another stick of 128mb and you should be fragging in no time :t
