I have a LT WinModem that connects to the internet at 56k fine. My modem won't work with mIrc though, or any other Irc chat programs. I have checked all latested drivers and even re-installed Win98. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I have a LT modem and it BLOWS if i had more money i'd buy a new non-winmodem. I suggest you do the same.

I have problems with what I think are conflcits between a winmodem and graphics card (see my posting above). What sort of modem do you suggest instead of a winmodme??
