My internal USrobotics modem is using my com2 port for some reason. Is there a way to free it up. My MB is a Shuttle 637, if that is any help. If you need any other specs of my pc just ask.

What's wrong with it on com2? Every modem I've had has been on com2. If your wanting to change it though boot your computer up and enter the bios. Usually it's the delete key. I run a Shuttle board as well and that's how I get in the bios. I'm not sure exactly where it's at but somewhere in there is a listing about com2. You need to disable that but if your mouse uses com1, then disabling the com2 will put it on com3 and the modem will conflict with your mouse. You should leave it on com2 unless you have a ps/2 style mouse then it actually should've used the modem on com1. You can plug the mouse in com2 and put the modem on 1 or 3 but you should leave it on com2.
