My friend's 20 year old cat Decibell was put down today around noon PST. She had a happy life. :(

There seems to be a disproportionatley high number of cat owners/fanciers here.

20 years is a very good age for a cat, I'm not looking forward to when my 2 will need to be put down.

That is a very long time to have a pet. I can only imagine what that must have been like.

Nah, she's six feet under in my friends backyard now. She hadn't eaten properly for several days though, and spent the last day at the vet on IV. They properly decided it was time. My friend has had that cat almost as long as I've known him; he's pretty sad.

It's hard when a pet dies. 20 years on a cat is decent though. Condolenses on Decibell
