Trouble Booting up

I have a problem. I just built a computer, and everything works fine except that the monitor doesn't really work. It has power and everything, but when I plug it into the computer, the power light blinks yellow and the screen remains blank. I think I need a new video cable, but I could be wrong. Please tell me whether or not this is the case. I know everything else works because I tried another monitor and it worked fine, this monitor had a built in cable, the new one doesn't. It is an IBM P200 (20").

I had a monitor that lasted a whole hour and a half, right out of the box. Then just like yours, no pic. You could have just gotten a bad monitor, like I did. If you can, take it back, and tell them it doesn't work anymore, and that you just bought it. Any good computer store will exchange it for you.
