On Socket A Mobos for Athlon XPs, the way of setting processor speed is I believe FSB X Multiplier e.g. 133 x 12.5 for 1.67 Ghz Athlon XP
Now I hear terms like Hypertransport link speed of > 1000 Mhz on socket 754 for Sempron/ Athlon 64 series. Is this similar to FSB and how is the processor speed set in BIOS in such cases?
