I am looking to upgrade my pc. I want to get a 3.0 ghz processor with 800 mhz bus. I want a motherboard that supports agp 8x and pci express and dual channel ddr, (because i have one of the high end agp cards and dont want to spend 600 on a new one yet) I've seen a few but dont know which one is good. What is a good chipset for motherboards for gaming. And finally i want twin 512mb dual channel ddr 3200. All i actually want to know what to get is the mobo. And with the ddr is 1gb of 2 dual channel 512mb ram faster than one single stick of ram. Thanks

It's either AGP or PCIe, not both. There may be some motherboards that say they have PCIe and AGP, but it's not native support. if you're buying a new system, PCIe would be the way to go.
Dual channel will give you better overall performance than single.
You didn't specify what kind of CPU, so it's hard to say which board.
Moving to motherboards forum.

Prescott is a 90nm core with 1MB L2 cache. All socket 775s except for some Extreme Editions are prescotts.
The 3.06 is not 800fsb and it was only for socket 478, not 775. That leaves you with one choice.

From your other thread about cpus, i guess you want an Intel.
Asus, Abit, DFI, and MSI make solid boards. Do some google searches to find out more info. It really depends on what features you are looking to have.
Most of the high end 775 boards run DDR2, not DDR.
Please try to keep your thoughts together. don't expect posters to be able to read your mind.
