Standby your Standby but it don't want to resume activity.

Yes i wanted to know sometimes when i put my system on standy and then when i come back to resume it. It won't resume all i see is a little flashing cursor. It seems to only do this when system stand is on for a long time like a couple hours. If on put system standby on and come back in 20 minutes or so it resumes. What is the problem?

One of them thar BIG-UGLY Win bugs.
Win98 doesn't like stand by.

Go to power management an set it{stand by} to never.

Then set your monitor an hard drive to what ever you want.

Your computer will power down the drive an the monitor at the time you set.

PS..... it wakes-up when you move the mouse.
