I've been using MS Word 2003 and am temporarily using vs. 2000 (don't ask!!!)
When I try to do a mail merge I get the following error message:

Word could not re-establish a DDE connection to MS Excel to complete the current task.

The data is stored in MS Excel, also (which also went thru the 2003 to 2000 change).
Any ideas, hopefully other than deleting all mail merge fields and setting them up again for all labels and docs.
