Low disk space when I have lots of room?

I ran really low on space on my xp pro comp, to 8mb of my 120 gig drive. So anyways, I delete about 10 gigs of stuff yet it still says I only have 8mb free, any ideas of what to do? Ive rebooted a few times already.

Clear the cache, delete all the files in the recycle bin, delete all of the temp files.

another thing to LOOK out for is the SIZE of the SWAP file (pagefile) on some machines it can grow to horrendus amount of size :eek:

If that doesn't fix the problem you can always try running scandisk and then disk defrag, that should fix any data that is being reported as wrong size.
