you can go to your bios and select reset optimum settings ( or something to that effec t) Or you can (on my mo'board anyway) change the jumper to re set, then place tyhe jumper back in it's original position.

Oh yeah, can't you enable virus protection in your bios to prevent anything from changing your settings? If you do that, then it still changes, I'd look into replacing the battery

My Toshiba Tecra 720CDT produces a "cmos has changed" notice at boot up. I have selected "Q" as my response each time because I don't know how to determine what has changed. How do I find out what has changed and why it changed?
