is this cpu temp too hot?????????????

just installed a pIII 450 w/ a tennmax p3tf heat sink/fan on an asus p3b-f mobo. the asus mobo comes w/ a mobo monitoring program. the monitoring program says the cpu temp stays between 58c-61c in normal usage. i ran 3dmax 99 for about 45min and the tempjumped to 70c. cant figure out what the temp range is on a pIII and need to know if the monitoring program is screwed or the processor is frying.

Your PIII should be ok at 70*C - they are rated up to 90*C
