Hey guys I have Battle for Middle Earth and my brothers and I want to play on the network. But it says that the CD-Key is already in use. Whats up with that!!! We have played other games on the internet before but now it won't work!

It means that you're using the same CD on your PCs. That's a no-no. Quake 3 had the same thing.

The best way to handle this is to disconnect the WAN line while gaming.

Oh sorry not on the internet just over the Local Area Network. If thats makes any difference.

Listen. Every time you start the game, it contacts a master server and checks CD keys. If another PC with your game key is connected to the Internet, it will shut you down.

If you disconnect the WAN line while gaming, the master server won't be an issue, will it?
