I installed it and it made it where i can't see any pictures on web sites. I can't find any uninstall short cut and nothing under control panel/add-remove progs.

Thanks in advance

That's pretty shoddy not to include an uninstall. Make sure first though, look in your Start Menu/Programs (if it was placed there)to see if it has an Uninstall, and/or go to Explorer where the directory is and check to see if there's an Uninstall.exe in that directory.

If not, you'll have to remove it through the Registry. BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY before proceeding. Get the correct name of the manufacturer or whoever makes it the program, (the About file should help you there). Then type 'regedit' (w/out quotes) from Start/Run and do a Find for that name, and carefully delete those software and other entries you find.

If you're not comfortable with using the Registry, there is software designed to remove programs. If you don't already have one of these, then you can check www.winfiles.com (http://www.winfiles.com) . Look under Win95/98 Shareware, File Management Utilites, File Cleanup.

Please be careful and good luck. /forum/smile.gif

Say, have you gone to your (remember, I'm on a public library machine, so I'm doing this from memory. Anyone feel free to correct me!)

I don't remember if it's under internet options in the control panel, or under the options you get when you right click on an empty space on yor desktop...

Try both but there is a long list of options with boxes to the left to check or uncheck. Since this effects the way IE works, I'd think it would be under internet options. Look down through the list, and one of the boxes actully says, "show pictures" Make sure that one has a check mark in it, 'K?

Try this if you haven't already. It would be a shame to pay for something just to kill it and get no value for your money, right?

And, do you think the internet boost helped your download times, etc?

Let us know and as always

Good Luck In All,

Mike P.
