I saw an ad for an Imation CD-RW Super Recorder 4x4x20 Internal E-IDE CD-RW Drive for $170 after $30 rebate. Can anyone recommend this? I need something to backup my hard disk as well as the ability to copy cd's. If I don't copy cd's is getting an additional hardisk a better option? I need something to backup my main disk so I can experiment with changing options on my system, like experimenting with nt, linux , etc... Thanks.
Ed

I have read good reviews about it. In terms of software, I hope it comes with the Direct Cd and the Easy Cd Recorder (Adactec). If it does not come with them, try the Nero cd software. It is free and you can get it from the net. Hope it helps you.

legende,
I purchased the Imation 4 x 4 x 20 about a month ago and it works great for me. But this is my first one so I have nothing to compare it to. I had to pay $229. for mine.
Antonino,
It comes with:
Diamond cut audio
Cd copier deluxe
Easy cd creater
Backup exec.
