My audio works fine except when playing games(no sound).

The problem seems to have started when I downloaded the latest the drivers for my ATI Expert '98 video card.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Did your soundcard come with a driver on a disk or CD-ROM?
If so u can just reinstall the driver off of that and have eveything back to normal.
