hi guy i just got problem.. got home from work. turn on my computer like normal... everyday.. then my computer report northbrigde fan run like 150 rpm and it red.. .... that mean the fan fail.. i have to take everything out and put in new fan for it.. i just want you all know that the abit NB fan not long last..... so beware

Welcome to the club, lol. My NB fan on my NF7-S lasted about a whole month before it started making all kinds of noise and stopped working. I replaced it with this and some AS3 about a year ago and it’s still running strong. My NF7-S is over two years old and the NB fan is working fine.

Consider yourself lucky. The majority of people end up replacing it.

I heard alot of people were having problems with theirs so when I bought my nf7-s a few months ago I figured i'd get a vantec iceburg to go with it :D

well i replace my NB with new copper base NB the solid one.. and new fan ... it run so cool now thanks for reply.. before my nb die out it make all kind of noise and it make me so sick so i decide to replace it...
