Does anyone have any experience with these drives:
IBM DJNA 9,1 GB 7200rpm U-DMA 66
IBM DTTA 14,4 GB 7200rpm U-DMA 66

Is there any other difference between the two (except the size off course)?

How does the cache (2mb on DJNA) influence the overall performance of your system?

Any benchmarks?

thanks
John

I just installed the 9,1 GB version, and I'm experiencing a very notable performance enhancement. This is on an ATA 33 system, so I'm not even using all the power that is there.

When I installed the DJNA, I ran Winstone 99 in ultra33 mode and got a 24.8 on the business tests batch. When I switched to the ultra66 (changed the IDE 40 pin 80 wire cable only) I got a 27!!! 2.2 points just by switching the cable.
