Thinking and doing are two very different things. You will need an expensive T3 connection (at least), fixed IPs and servers.

This investment is not for the faint of heart.

Seems that the first thing you should buy a book and do some reading.

When BpB said expensive, he’s not kidding. Even a partial T1 will cost you a pretty penny.

I'm aware that the connection is very expensive. But I mean I'm not gonna start this summer. I'm gonna save up and host very small websites. Like friend websites and eventually work my way up to the top. Believe me a 16 year old is far from where I'm hoping to get. Maybe in abour 5 years or something. And by then things hopefully will have of gone down.

You'll need a server. Server software such as Apache or IIS. Your best bet would be to search the Programming forum for previous posts, I get a little tired of seeing people ask these kinds of questions when they've been asked 1000 times.

Try searching in this forum only for things like:

domain name
hosting
servers
apache

And the like. :t

have you used linux? with apache, you can setup your own website and then go from there. The software is free.
