Lately I've been having problems with my computer shutting down while im playing a game. Today it shut down and it wouldnt start back up. The power light was on but it wouldnt turn on. Im starting to think its my Processor overheating but I'm not positve. I know the MOBO has a built in temp protection to shut it down. Ive tryed finding a program to read system temps but none of them support my board. It's a DFI KM400-MLV. Ive tryed Motherboard Monitor and Everest can someone suggest how to get a temp reading.
Thanks
Bryce

Try blowing the power supply out first. It may be clogged with dust.

Actually I pulled the fan off my processor and it was covered in dust so i cleaned it up and its working fine. The weirdest thing is ive only had the compter for less than a month and its already clogged with dust. I guess maybe with the four case fans itd move alot of air and dust. Im gonna build some filters for all the fans cause I dont want to be cleaning the porcessor one all the time. I still would like to find a temp monitor program though.

i personally dont like to use programs to tell me the CPU temps cause i got different programs telling me different temps and i didn't know what one to believe, ive found using temp probes connected to LCD screens in a front panel like on the "Thermaltake Hardcano" series or "Aerogate" front panels

Actually ive figured out thats what I have to do because my board doesnt have an accessable temp sensor anyways so I guess I will be buying probes.
Thanks
