I have 8.4 W.Digital hd. I am adding 13. w digital hd and ultra ata66 pci controler card. What is best way to add New HD as master without transfering any progs. from old HD? I want to install only certain programs from old HD and not all Programs, so don't want to copy from old HD.
Do I install ultra ata66 card first then new hd?

The cleanest way would be to simply install the new HD as the only HD then fdisk and format the new drive, then load your OS onto the new HD. I assume your old HD is not ata66 so each should be on a separate cable.
