Yes i want to know something. I was looking at tsome guys computer and everytime he would boot windows 95 version b i would always say this

While initializing device Ios:
Error: An I/O subsystem driver failed to load either a file in the \iosubsys subdirectory is corrupt,or system memory is low.

Okay the guy has enough memory
32 mbs of memory
200mhz pentium i think mobo is tx version
He has
creative dvd
cdrom
dvd card
soundcard creative 16
printer card and some other
junk i forgot.

Any one know what the problem is??

I'll take a shot at that, but as my moniker suggests, you should get a second opinion.

IO subsystem (I think) is where real mode (16bit) drivers live. Have your friend check out device manager and check the performance tab (where you'd change the swap file if you wanted to) see if any drives are running msdos compatabilty mode. If so they should have noticed a significant slow down in performance.
On the other hand the error msg may just be from an incompletley uninstalled prog. Sometimes I screw up and delete a log file that prevents add/remove prog from uninstalling. For some reason when I uninstall virus progs I get an error msg on boot like that- I'm using Norton 3 and/or Innoculate It...hope that helped, just check with someone more proficient than I before you take what I suggested as gospel.
